The Firm represents unionized and non-unionized employers in a broad range of labor relations matters, including representation campaigns and elections, collective bargaining, arbitrations, strikes, and unfair labor practice charges.
The Firm’s attorneys have handled labor relations matters for employers in numerous industries, including airlines, construction, distribution, education, health care, manufacturing, and trucking, and have negotiated industry-wide, company-wide and site-specific collective bargaining agreements.
Union Organizing
The Firm has successfully represented employers in union organizing campaigns, representation elections, and decertification proceedings. We provide training and campaign strategy and materials in election and decertification campaigns, and we also represent employers in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board in the event of challenged ballots or objectionable election conduct.
Labor Arbitration and Unfair Labor Practice Charges
The Firm frequently represents employers in proceedings before labor arbitrators, successfully resolving a full range of disciplinary and contract interpretation claims arising under collective bargaining agreements. The Firm has also successfully represented unionized and non-unionized employers in a broad range of unfair labor practice charges, including successfully representing and defending unfair labor practice charges in the context of union organizing campaigns and collective bargaining negotiations.
Collective Bargaining and Strikes
The Firm’s attorneys have handled collective bargaining negotiations for employers in numerous industries, including airlines, construction, distribution, education, health care, manufacturing and trucking, and have negotiated industry-wide, company-wide, and site-specific collective bargaining agreements. In handling collective bargaining for employers, we have significant experience negotiating first contracts, as well as preparing and implementing appropriate strategies when strikes or other economic action is taken.
