Employment Laws Also Protect Unauthorized Workers

Brian D. Carlson and Julie A. Galvin authored a special feature in the December 2014 issue of New England In-House.  The article discusses how workers who lack authorization to work in the United States are still protected under most employment laws, including discrimination and wage-and-hour laws.  The special feature examines a recent case in this area and also conveys recommendations designed to help employers  ensure that their policies and practices are in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
