Working on behalf of a health care client, the Firm helped to bring one of its unions to the negotiating table after the union refused, because the union insisted that the existing collective bargaining agreement had been extended. The Firm filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board, and, after an investigation, the Board determined that the charge had merit. Subsequently, the union and the client negotiated and reached a new collective bargaining agreement. William E. Hannum III, Todd A. Newman, and Brian D. Carlson were the attorneys involved.
